Membership dues are $25 annually ($35 Canadian, $45 foreign).  The membership year begins January 1.  Those who join mid-year receive back issues of the journal.

  • Publish articles and papers that add to the trove of archival materials on Louisiana
  • Conduct seminars on a wide variety of topics
  • Assist others like you in their quest for hard-to-find information and helpful contacts
  • Respond to out-of-state queries relating to Louisiana roots
  • Foster interest and promote involvement in historical and genealogical endeavors
  • Provide a stable mechanism for networking among those devoted to history/genealogy

In addition to the annual membership fee, individuals may make a monetary donation to the Society in memory of a deceased member or officer, or a loved one.  The additional funds will further support the activities and services of the Society. The person’s name will be added to a memorial legacy list.
