Since 1954, the Society has published The Louisiana Genealogical Register – an eclectic collection of Louisiana records, historical and genealogical articles, queries, announcements, and “how to” advice, which is free to members. Out-of-state individuals and more than 100 libraries subscribe to the journal. Over the years, LGHS has also published a variety of other materials, including a book on Louisiana soldiers in the War of 1812, which is a popular seller around the world. The Society has also compiled a subject index for prior journals.
Submissions
The Society welcomes articles, queries, old photographs, and announcements for publication in the Register. Queries are published free of charge. Please contact the Editor:
